Steering Committee’s Second Meeting

In late September, the Downtown Action Plan Steering Committee convened for a second meeting. The project team shared preliminary Action Plan vision statements, interventions, and potential geographic sectors to target, all of which are taking form based on findings from the extensive feedback process and robust research and data analysis that has been under way since May. (The public's participation in the survey about downtown that ran in August and September was incredible, with more than 4,000 submissions. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to offer their responses.)

Steering Committee members — who represent a cross-section of downtown stakeholders — provided feedback to confirm emerging themes, refine recommendations, and suggest areas for additional consideration. This information is being used to inform the project team’s work on the plan, which will be shared publicly in the coming months.
